Alger C. Newberry III is the business librarian for the Genesee District Library in Grand Blanc, Michigan, and on top of business as usual, helps curate his library’s graphic novel collection, advocating them to patrons of all ages, and even finding two graphic novels that could be shelved in his library’s Business Center and recommended to aspiring entrepreneurs. He attained his MLIS from Wayne State University in 2016 and a BA in English Compositional Theory from the University of Michigan in 2009. Writing has been a passion of his since the first grade and storytelling of any kind has been the kindling to his creative fires ever since.
