    Stephanie earned her MLIS from Wayne State University with a specialization in library services for children and young adults. Currently in a literacy education Ph.D. program at Washington State University, Stephanie focuses on middle grade and young adult graphic novels for mental health and social-emotional learning. She is also the YALSA Book Awards/Lists Oversight Committee Liaison for the Great Graphic Novels for Teens and Quick Picks for Reluctant Young Adult Readers book selection lists. Stephanie loves dinosaurs, Australian animals, roller and ice skating, sci-fi and fantasy, Filipino food, and playing video games with her husband.
