Al(lison) has a diverse educational background, including an art degree and a paralegal certificate. She is fairly new to the field of librarianship, but couldn’t be happier. These days, her duties closely align with a research librarian. She works with a small but mighty team of colleagues. An anime and manga nerd since childhood, she pursues these media as her primary form of content consumption. Al also volunteers with Creators, Assemble! Inc. non-profit that works with publishers and creators to develop teaching and library activity guides for comics at all levels and areas of interest.
