Batman 66 Volume 1 (DC Comics, 9781401247218)
?Thomas: Batman 66 is so whimsical and fun. I would love to see an updated campy Batman movie done with today’s comedians. The stories always start so straight-laced, then ramp up the goofiness until the anti-seriousness loops back on itself and makes the restored status quo feel like a relief.
Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (DC Comics, 9781401242862)
?Saeyong: I’m intrigued by the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo GN – I’m interested in seeing how it has been interpreted. I haven’t seen the movie, so it should be fun to experience them side-by-side.
Happy Marriage?! Volume 5 (Viz, 9781421559384)
Jenny: I’m a little behind on Happy Marriage?! by Maki Enjoji, but I enjoyed the first one’s mix of romantic melodrama and comedy and look forward to reading more. Â We need more josei manga in English!
Hidden: A Child’s Story of the Holocaust (First Second, 9781596438736)
Andrew S: I’m most excited about First Second’s Hidden. Â I had a chance to read a galley copy of it and it’s an absolutely beautifully illustrated and well written story, one that every library should own.

Hunter X Hunter Volume 32 (Viz, 9781421559124)
Saeyong: HunterxHunter is always enjoyable. It is like a clinical analysis of the classic shonen adventure series. It hits all the right spots, but keeps things just slightly off-kilter enough that you stop to think about why you feel so disturbed by the Infinite Potential of Youth, or Endless Determination the characters display…
Library Wars: Love and War Volume 11 (Viz, 9781421564319)
Jenny: Library Wars’ earnest schmaltz continues to keep me reading despite myself.
