Jenny: Blue Exorcist’s anime was fun, but after an awkwardly-paced start I’m actually liking the manga even better.
Disney Fairies Volume 11: Tinker Bell and the Most Precious Gift (Papercutz, 9781597073943)
Bonnie: Is it wrong that I think this is some sort of abstinence title?
Jennifer W: HA! Now I can’t get that out of my head…Disney Fairies gns are super-popular with my little girls at the library though – and quite a few big girls too!
Jiu Jiu Volume 4 (Viz, 9781421543154)
Jenny: Volume 3 of Jiu Jiu had some clunky, confusing narrative issues toward the end, but there was so much good new-character revelation that I’ll forgive and forget if 4 has as much goodness with a smoother read.
Kimi Ni Todoke: From Me to You Volume 16 (Viz, 9781421551616)
Abby: I’m really enjoying the Kimi Ni Todoke series. Sawako is a really adorable main character. I need to know that she and Kazehaya can make things work!
Jenny: Kimi ni Todoke is just wonderful and I am antsy to see how 16 develops the endearing side characters’ relationships along with Sawako and Kazehaya’s.
My Boyfriend is a Monster: He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not (Lerner/Graphic Universe, 9780761385486)
My Boyfriend is a Monster: Match Made in Heaven (Lerner/Graphic Universe, 9781467707329)
Abby: I’m excited for more “My Boyfriend is a Monster”. The volumes up to now have been really cute one shot stories that my teens (and I…) have really enjoyed. The Jekyll and Hyde take for ‘He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not” looks particularly good to me.
Jennifer W: still can’t resist reading every MBiaM book that comes out, but I really didn’t care for Match Made in Heaven.
Slam Dunk Volume 27 (Viz, 9781421533346)
Jenny: I am so behind on Slam Dunk! But between ILL and order-suggestions, I’m slowly but surely catching up with sweetly foolish Sakuragi, arrogant Rukawa, and the whole crazy, basketball-loving gang.
