Understanding Manga and Anime CoverSo, I’m not dead, thanks. I do apologize for my long absence from the internets. I will explain…no, it will take too long, I will sum up: work, New York Comic-Con, work, reading for the Eisners (!), work, finishing the book, work, judging the Eisners (!!), articles, work, and now summer reading plus ALA all at once. Still, I feel terrible to be so out of date.

All of this to say — I have a half-dozen half-written posts that will hopefully see the light of day after this weekend.

But the real news is…my book is here! Really! I’m off to ALA, and wonder of wonders, I have a book signing from 11am-12noon at the Libraries Unlimited booth with my comrade-in-GNs Mike Pawuk (who’ll be signing his excellent book, Graphic Novels: A Genre Guide to Comic Books, Manga, and More.) So if you’re around, drop buy and say hello! I’ll even doodle you a picture, if you want.
