Do you wish the Sunday comics went on for a lot longer? After sniggering at the latest Zits comic online, do you wish for a bit more of that story? After laughing your way through The Revenge of the Baby-Sat for the umpteenth time, do you long for the return of Calvin and Hobbes?

Well, my friends, you need wait no more! I can't promise more Calvin and Hobbes (a great pity, I agree) but I can recommend a world of graphic novels that will feed your need!

The world of comics and graphic novels has exploded with new titles, new genres, and just generally an outpouring of worthwhile reading. In today's titles, you can find anything from a fantasy to rival Harry Potter to a nonfiction book that will tell you all about bees and make you laugh till you drop.

This site is specifically devoted to presenting graphic novel reviews for kids and those who work with them, including librarians, teachers, and parents. It used to be that comics were, generally, for kids -- but this is no longer true! In today's comics, the stories are most often aimed at adults and teens, and there are fewer and fewer titles for kids. Thus, the creation of this site to help you all navigate the murky waters of comic book stores and graphic novel sections to make sure you're getting what's right for you!
